Biography
2012-13: Earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 400-yard individual medley and 1,000-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division II Championships...finished 13th in the 1,000-freestyle and 15th in the 400-IM...also swam in the 200-breaststroke and 500-freestyle...won the NSISC title in the 400-individual medley and 200-breaststroke...had the Miners' best time in the 200-breaststroke during the season of 1:59.61, the 500-freestyle of 4:32.33 and 1,000-freestyle of 9:22.21...recorded the second-best marks in the 200-IM (1:53.10) and 100-breaststroke (56.42).
2011-12: Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships in his first season with the Miners...was the NSISC champion in the 400-yard individual medley with a seasonal-best time of 3:59.18 in the finals...won the NSISC title in the 200-yard breaststroke as well...also had a fourth place finish in the 200-yard individual medley...was on the 200-medley relay team that finished third...had top times on the season of 2:01.78 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 1:53.46 in the 200-IM, both of which were the team's top performances for the season...also recorded a top mark of 58.94 seconds in the 100-yard breaststroke.
PERSONAL: Son of Barry and Stacey Goldfarb...was selected as his team's most valuable player for four seasons and set records in his conference while competing at The Oakridge School in Arlington, Texas...had top prep times of 2:03.01 in the 200-yard breaststroke, 57.51 in the 100-breaststroke and 4:04.44 in the 400-individual medley...majoring in chemistry.
