Biography
First season in the Miner program.
PERSONAL: Son of Don and Tammie Krause…won several state championships during his prep career at Bartlesville High School, including two in his senior year…won the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 1:52.23, beating current teammate Chase Davis by a narrow margin to win and also anchored Bartlesville’s state title team in the 400-yard freestyle relay…won the 100-yard butterfly as a junior and had a second place finish in that event in his senior year, as well as a runner-up finish in the 200-IM to Davis at the 2012 state meet…swam the leadoff leg for the 400-free relay team that won a state title in his junior season as well…had four first place finishes at the Oklahoma Summer Long Course Meter Championships in 2012, winning both butterfly and individual medley races…qualified for the Junior Nationals and narrowly missed qualifying for the United States Olympic Trials…posted a time of 50.83 at the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State games in the summer of 2013, the fastest ever in the event at that meet…majoring in civil engineering.
