Biography

First season in the Miner program.

PERSONAL: Son of Joseph Averkamp and Alisa Reigert...earned first-team all-state and all-metro honors at the high school level as a sprint freestyle competitor...was part of a state championship team in the 200-medley relay and 100-yard freestyle, while finishing as runner-up in the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay...majoring in petroleum engineering.
