Biography

Appeared in all 20 games for the Miners during the 2010 season and started in 19...finished the year with three goals and two assists for eight points...had goals against Kentucky Wesleyan, Indianapolis and Ashland, scoring S&T's first-ever NCAA Tournament goal in that contest...played in all 15 games during the 2009 season...scored his only goal of the season against Maryville...also assisted on a goal at Wisconsin-Parkside, S&T's first goal of the campaign…started in 14 of the Miners’ 18 games in his freshman season…was a four-year letterwinner at the high school level, helping lead Klein Oak the state semifinals in 2005 and 2006…earned first-team all-conference honors after his junior year when he led the team with 10 goals and nine assists…was also a first-team academic all-state selection…played for the Texas Rush club team and helped that squad finish second at the 2007 Disney Showcase.

Personal: Son of John and Cristy Doerner…attended Klein Oak High School…majoring in mechanical engineering.
