Biography

Starter in every game as a wing defender during the 2014 campaign...had three assists during the season, including one on the game-winning goal against Illinois Springfield...also had assists against Lindenwood and Missouri-St. Louis...played every minute in 17 of the 18 games...earned a spot on the Capital One Academic All-America team following the 2014 season, his second straight selection to the squad...started in all 18 games at the defender position in 2013…finished with two goals and three assists for seven points…scored against McKendree in an eventual 1-1 tie and at Missouri-St. Louis 5:44 into overtime to give the Miners a 2-1 win…had two assists in the season opener against Southwest Baptist…played in six games during his freshman season, starting two and had two shots...had eight goals and three assists for 19 points as a high school senior to earn all-state honors in Illinois…was selected to the Chicago Fire all-academic second team following the 2011 season as well as to the all-metro team in St. Louis…also played for the Lou Fusz Soccer Club…was a high school teammate of S&T teammate Alex Reifschneider.

Personal: Son of Peter and Karen Lawhead…attended O’Fallon Township High School…majoring in petroleum engineering.
