2016: Appeared in five games during his freshman season at Missouri S&T...played primarily along the back line and as a midfielder.
High School: Played at Lafayette High School, where he served as a captain last season and scored 14 goals with eight assists...earned second-team all-state, first-team all-conference and third-team all-metro honors in St. Louis, while also being selected to the Class 4 all-region team; Lafayette reached the state quarterfinals a year ago and was undefeated up to that point in the season...as a junior, he posted six points with two goals and two assists...played his club soccer with Lou Fusz.
Personal: Played at Lafayette High School...son of John and Sandi Scharf...majoring in computer engineering at Missouri S&T.
