2014-15: Led the Miners in scoring with an average of 13.3 points per game…scored in double figures on 18 occasions, led by a 23-point outing at Rockhurst…also scored 22 against Saint Joseph’s and 21 against Illinois Springfield…shot 38 percent from the field, 33.7 percent from three-point range and 77.8 percent at the free throw line…reached double figures in each of the Miners’ first seven games of the year…averaged five rebounds per game with a season-high of nine on three occasions…also led S&T in steals with 43 (sixth in the GLVC) and tied for the team lead with 14 blocked shots—including five against McKendree – while dishing out 24 assists.

AT CAMERON/JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent the 2013-14 season at Cameron University after playing one year at Missouri State University-West Plains, where he averaged 8.2 points and two rebounds a game while scoring in double figures 14 times…at Cameron, he played in just eight games a year ago, scoring 2.5 points a contest. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Scored 1,512 points and averaged 24 points a game in his senior year at Carthage High School…also pulled down 4.5 rebounds a contest and shot 55 percent from the field, 70 percent at the free throw line and made 33 percent of his tries from three-point range…earned first-team all-state honors following the 2011-12 season and was a first-team all-conference and all-district selection as well…earned all-conference laurels in each of his three seasons at the varsity level at Carthage.

PERSONAL: Son of Rob and Tana Buerge...attended Carthage High School, where he was coached by Steve Ray...majoring in business at Missouri S&T.
