Missouri S&T Athletics

2025: Named the GLVC Co-Freshman of the Year, the first Freshman of the Year award for S&T since 2017…appeared in 53 games with 42 starts…collected 54 hits and 18 extra-base hits…was almost perfect on the bases with 18 stolen bags in 19 attempts…his six triples ranked first in the GLVC…recorded five hits on Apr. 9 against Trevecca Nazarene, tied for the most hits in S&T history…also had three doubles, four runs and four RBI in that game…totaled 11 hits, 11 runs and six RBI in the GLVC Tournament to earn GLVC All-Tournament team honors.

PRIOR TO MISSOURI S&T: Spent one semester at University of Missouri during his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mount de Sales Academy in Perry, Georgia...was a four time all-regions award winner, an all-state nominee and a Golden Eagle Nominee...hit for .480 with an .800 slugging percentage for the Cavaliers during his senior season...also tallied four home runs and 21 RBIs...participated in the 2022 New Balance Future Stars Series, as well as the PG Junior National Showcase and the 2023 USA Baseball 16U/17U National Team Development Program...eas a part of the National Honor Society during his time at Mount de Sales. 

PERSONAL: Son of Donald and Keli Smith...majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Missouri S&T.
