Anthony Monaco is in his first season as the head golf coach for Missouri S&T. He has seven years of coaching experience, two in NCAA Division II and five in NCAA Division III.
Prior to joining S&T, Monaco served as the Director of Golf for the Division III Maryville College Scots. As director, he operated as head coach for both men's and women's golf programs, becoming the all-time winningest coach in Maryville history in the process. His teams set several program records during his tenure, including a program high national ranking of 27th for their Men's team.
Before his time with Maryville, Monaco was the Head Men's Golf Coach at Urbana University, a Division II program in Urbana, Ohio. He led his student-athletes to success both on and off the course at Urbana, setting program records like highest team finish at the conference tournament and highest individual finish at the conference tournament all while maintaining a team GPA of 3.7. He finished his tenure there as Urbana's second winningest coach in program history.
