Biography
2021: Competed in all six meets during the season and was the Miners' top finisher in three of them...recorded a top eight-kilometer time of 25:08 at the GLVC Championships...had a 25:55 at Arkansas and a mark of 26:14 at the Border War Invitational, where he had his highest finish of the season of third overall...finished fifth in the four-mile race at Southwest Baptist in 20:23.
2020: Finished among the Miners' top runners in all three meets during the season...finished with a time of 27:00 to finish fifth at the GLVC West Division meet...also had eight-kilometer times of 27:04 to finish sixth at Southwest Baptist and 27:05 at the GLVC Championships.
2019: Was one of the Miners' top five finishers in five of the six meets he competed in...was S&T's third finisher at the GLVC Championships, where he recorded his second-fastest eight-kilometer time of the season of 26:21...had a 26:15 at the Chile Pepper Festival.
2018: Competed in four meets during his freshman season...had his best time over eight kilometers at the GLVC Championships, when he posted a time of 26:36.
PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Diane Pateidl...attended Blue Valley West High School, where he competed at the Kansas State Championships in both cross country and track & field...is a two-time steeplechase champion in the GLVC in track & field...majoring in metallurgical engineering at Missouri S&T.
