Biography
2012-13: Played in all 25 games and started in 24...finished as the Miners' second-leading scorer with an average of 11.2 points per game...also averaged 1.7 rebounds and recorded 43 assists and 36 steals...shot 44.5 percent from the field, 79.1 percent at the free throw line and connected 24 times from three-point range, finishing third on the team in that department...scored in double figures on 15 occasions, including each of the last five contests...scored a career-high 19 points in the season finale against eventual NCAA Division II champion Drury....had a season-best five rebounds against Westminster and five assists at William Jewell.
2011-12: Played in all 27 games and averaged 6.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game…added 27 assists, 11 steals and a blocked shot…shot 43.2 percent from the floor, 39.2 percent from three-point range and 63 percent at the free throw line…reached double figures on seven occasions during the year, doing so against Lindenwood-Belleville and in the Miners’ upset over No. 2-ranked Southern Indiana…made a lay-up with 2:49 left in the second half that put the Miners up for good…went seven-of-nine from the floor in that game…also had a 14-point outing in a win over Rockhurst…recorded a season-high five assists in the victory at Maryville.
2010-11: Averaged 3.7 points and 0.7 rebounds per game as he appeared in all 25 games as a freshman...added 21 assists and 11 steals while blocking a shot…shot 80.4 percent at the free throw line and made seven three-pointers during the year…scored in double figures on four occasions, scoring a season-high 18 points at Indianapolis in 29 minutes of action while making the first of his two starts on the season…also scored 12 points in his Miner debut against Blackburn and at Rockhurst.
HIGH SCHOOL:  Earned all-state special mention honors as both a junior and senior at Maine East High School…also landed all-area and all-conference laurels in each of those seasons…averaged 28 points, two rebounds and three assists per game as a senior after posting marks of 17 points and 5.5 assists during his junior year.
PERSONAL: Son of Arif and Omer Khan...attended Maine East High School, where his coach was Glenn Olson...majoring in technical communications.
