Biography

2023-24: Finished the season as the team's second-leading scorer with an average of 12.6 points per game...also had five rebounds per contest and led S&T with 120 assists...became the second Miner in history with back-to-back 100-assist seasons...average of five assists per game led the GLVC and his 1.8 steals per outing on 44 steals ranked second in the conference...reached double figures in the scoring column on 16 occasions, led by a 25-point effort in a win over Michigan Tech in the season opener...also had 24 points against Lewis and 21 against Illinois Springfield and Upper Iowa...had six consecutive games in double figures in one stretch of the season...had a season-best nine assists against Manhattan Christian and Rockhurst and had five steals in the game at Drury...his 120 assists were the seventh-most in a season in program history and helped him reach the top 10 on the S&T career list.

2022-23: Named to the All-GLVC second team after his first season in a Miner uniform...ranked among the GLVC leaders in field goal percentage (sixth at 51.7 percent), assists (fifth with 108) and steals (fourth with 44)...averaged 13.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while also blocking 19 shots...connected on 38.8 percent of his three-point attempts and 75.6 percent from the free throw line...scored a career-high 36 points in a victory over Illinois Springfield; the 36 points were the most by a Miner in a game in nine seasons...scored the game-winning basket with two seconds remaining to help S&T overcome a 17-point deficit and defeat eventual NCAA Midwest Regional champion Missouri-St. Louis...also had 10 assists in that game, making him the first Miner with a 10-assist outing since 2017...reached double figures on 19 occasions, including an eight-game stretch in January where he averaged 16.8 points in that span.

PRIOR TO MISSOURI S&T: Transfer from the University of Wisconsin-Stout who was named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's first team following the 2021-22 campaign...finished third in the WIAC in scoring with an average of 18.3 points per game and tied for the conference lead in assists with 5.3 per contest as he recorded 127 on the season...started in all 24 games and shot 46.5 percent from the field, 42.1 percent from three-point range – making 53-of-126 – and 84.3 percent at the free throw line...also averaged 4.6 rebounds per game and made 47 steals...in nine games during his freshman season – the Blue Devils played just nine games that season -- he averaged 12 points and 2.4 rebounds per game...was an all-state and all-conference performer at the high school level in the Twin Cities and was a Minnesota All-Star nominee as he avearged 16 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals per game.

PERSONAL: Son of Michelle Woitalla...attended Maple Grove High School...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
