Biography

2022-23: Member of the GLVC's All-Defensive team for the second straight season...finished the year with 49 steals and 12 blocked shots; led the GLVC with 1.8 steals per game and was second in the conference with his total of 49 steals...averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game and shot 50 percent from the field...reached double figures on 15 occasions, led by a 22-point effort in a win over Maryville...had two double-doubles during the year, including an 18-point, 10-rebound effort against Northwood to help him earn GLVC Player of the Week honors...reached double figures in each of S&T's first five games of the season and also had at least 10 points in four of S&T's last five games...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2021-22: Was named to the GLVC's All-Defensive team following the season...led the Miners with 49 steals, which also ranked fourth in the conference and blocked 12 shots...averaged 11.1 points per game and led S&T with 6.5 rebounds per contest as well as in assists with 72...shot 45.8 percent from the field and owned a 1.64-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio...was one of two Miners to start in all 28 games and averaged 33.7 minutes per contest, the seventh-highest average in the GLVC...scored in double figures on 18 occasions, led by a season-high 22 points against Southern Indiana...had a season-best 14 rebounds in a win over Culver-Stockton...had six games with four or more steals...had all four double-doubles recorded by a Miner during the campaign, which came against Culver-Stockton, Rockhurst, Southern Indiana and Lewis.

2020-21: Started in all 20 games during his freshman season and averaged 10.3 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds per game...also led the Miners with 70 assists and 50 turnovers, ranking second in the GLVC in steals and eighth in assist-to-turnover ratio...connected on 46.1 percent of his field goal attempts, 36.8 percent of his three-point tries and 62.9 percent at the free throw line...scored a season-high 20 points against Rockhurst on Dec. 5, one of 13 games in double figures...recorded his first career double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds against Lindenwood on Feb. 6...had eight steals against McKendree on Dec. 3, the most by any player in the GLVC during the season...led the team in scoring three times and in rebounding on five occasions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-state honors following his senior year in Illinois Class 3A...averaged 18.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.1 steals per contest during the 2019-20 campaign for a team that reached the Sweet Sixteen with a 32-2 record...was named as the large school "Player of the Year" by the State Register-Journal in Springfield, Ill....shot 57.7 percent from the field while playing at played at both guard positions at the high school level, primarily as a point guard...averaged 21 points per game during his junior year and was selected to the All-Apollo Conference first team...earned second-team all-state and all-area laurels as well as first-team all-region and all-county awards following the 2018-19 season when he helped lead his team to a second place regional finish...shot 43 percent from the field and 83 percent at the free throw line for a Lincoln program that has been traditionally one of the top ones in the state of Illinois.

PERSONAL: Son of Kent and Kari Froebe…attended Lincoln Community High School, where his coach was Neil Alexander, who has won over 800 games at the high school level…was high school teammates with former Miner Dylan Singleton...majoring in business at Missouri S&T.
