2020: Led the Miners in tackles during the spring campaign with 29, including 14 solo stops...had a season-high 11 tackles against Southwest Baptist and Truman State...returned a fumble 93 yards for a touchdown in the win over William Jewell; fumble runback was the second-longest in GLVC history...added three pass breakups and 1.5 tackles for a loss...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2019: First-team All-GLVC selection at safety after leading the Miners in tackles during the campaign...finished the year with 97 stops that included 47 solo tackles and two tackles for a loss...also forced three fumbles and had three pass breakups...broke up a pass on a two-point conversion play to preserve the Miners' win over McKendree...recorded a season-high 16 tackles against Eastern New Mexico and Indianapolis...had at least 10 tackles in five different games.

2018: Named honorable mention All-GLVC following a season in which he finished third on the team with 68 tackles...also had one quarterback sack (vs. William Jewell) and three tackles for a loss to go along with three pass breakups and a forced fumble...posted a season-high 10 tackles against Eastern New Mexico and Indianapolis with seven solo stops in each game...finished the year with 36 solo tackles.

2017: Made three starts and played in all 11 games during the season…finished with 34 tackles, including 19 solo stops…had a season-best eight tackles against Lincoln and seven against Indianapolis…also had three pass breakups during the season.

2016: Redshirted for the 2016 season

High School: Recorded 108 tackles, five interceptions, three fumble recoveries and 10 pass breakups...was also a wrestler at Northwest and earned first-team all-conference honors in that sport as well as in football...was a Kansas Honors Scholar.  

Personal: Attended Northwest High School, where his coach was Steve Martin...son of Ike and Sarah Onwugbufor...majoring in biological sciences and psychology at Missouri S&T.
