2018-19: Averaged 14.3 points over the first eight games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury...was the Miners' leading scorer on the year prior to the injury...connected on 43.3 percent (26-of-60) of his three-point attempts...scored in double figures five times, including three games with at least 20 points...had a season-high of 23 against Central Christian that included seven three-point baskets...also scored 21 against Newman and 20 against Upper Iowa...pulled down 3.4 rebounds per game, while dishing out 21 assists and making 13 steals...shot 90 percent at the free throw line.

AT PIERCE COLLEGE: Played for two seasons at Pierce College in California, where as a sophomore he averaged a team-high 20.7 points per game and shot 43.9 percent from three-point range – connecting on 104-of-237 attempts from beyond the arc…averaged 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest and also made 51 steals…as a freshman, he averaged 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and three assists per game, while shooting 38.7 percent from three-point range – making 48 shots from long range – and made 82.9 percent of his free throw attempts…earned all-conference honors in the Western State-South Conference in the California Community College Athletic Association in each of the last two seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 24 points, six rebounds and six assists per game as well as three steals a contest at Mailbu High School…earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-state honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert Newt and Shonnie Martinez…attended Malibu High School, where his coach was Rich Harris…majoring in business at Missouri S&T.
