Biography
2017-18: Led the GLVC in minutes played at 36.5 per contest…averaged 9.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game…shot 41.5 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from three-point range, while also making 80.6 percent of his free throws…scored in double figures on 14 occasions, which included 17-point performances against Lincoln, California Baptist, Illinois Springfield and Drury…recorded double-doubles against Blackburn and William Jewell…had a career-high seven assists against Robert Morris-Peoria.
2016-17: Averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as he played in 24 contests…made starts in 11 games…finished as the GLVC’s third-best three-point shooter, connecting on 50.5 percent of his attempts from long range…hit at least five three-pointers on three occasions ,with a season-high of seven against Calvary when he scored a career-high 21 points…had six double figure performances during the year…shot 48.7 percent from the floor and 81 percent at the free throw line…also had 29 assists, 15 steals and a blocked shot.
2015-16: Played in the first five games of the year before suffering a season-ending injury...averaged 1.8 points and 0.6 rebounds in those five contests, with a high point game of four against Central Missouri...had a steal and an assist.
2014-15: Averaged 4.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game during his freshman season at S&T…shot 38.2 percent from the floor and made 11-of-38 from three-point range, while also hitting 78.3 percent of his free throw attempts…scored a season-high nine points on three occasions, doing so against Ozark Christian, Trevecca Nazarene and Southern Indiana…also recorded 16 assists, 18 steals and a blocked shot…missed the final month of the season after averaging nearly 13 minutes of playing time during the first 19 contests.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 19 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game at Oakville High School during the 2013-14 season, while shooting nearly 48 percent from the floor and connecting 29 times from three-point range….earned all-district and all-Suburban West honors on the floor and was also a member of the academic all-state team…as a junior, he averaged 15.5 points and 2.9 rebounds a contest, while adding 53 assists and 26 steals in a season in which he also shot 39 percent from three-point range.
PERSONAL: Son of Nedzad and Admira Sarajilic...attended Oakville High School, where his coach was Nick Traxler...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
