2013-14: Appeared in all 27 games and made seven starts during the 2013-14 campaign…averaged 5.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest, while added five assists, eight steals and seven blocked shots…made 55.8 percent of his attempts from the floor…scored in double figures on four occasions, with a high mark of 19 against Southeastern Oklahoma State…also scored 16 in a win over Robert Morris-Springfield and 14 against NCAA Division II Tournament qualifier Indianapolis, making all six of his field goal attempts in that contest…had a season-high seven rebounds vs. Southeastern Oklahoma and RMU-Springfield.

2012-13: Appeared in all 25 games and averaged 3.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest...shot 57.4 percent from the field and was 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) from the free throw line...added three assists, five blocked shots and three steals...scored a season-high 13 points against Maryville and had his other double figure scoring game against Lindenwood with 10 points...pulled down a season-best eight boards in the Lindenwood outing.

2011-12: Averaged 3.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in his first season in a Miner uniform, as he played in all 27 games…also had nine assists, five steals and four blocked shots…shot 44.6 percent from the field and 76.5 percent from the free throw line…reached double figures in the scoring column three times, including a season-high 13 against Illinois Springfield…also scored 10 against William Woods and Kentucky Wesleyan…had a seasonal-best seven boards against William Woods and Quincy.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 17.8 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots per game at Bishop Miege High School…was an all-state and all-conference selection as he was also named as a Kansas all-star…high school team won the Kansas Class 5A state championship in 2010 and reached the quarterfinals during his senior season.

PERSONAL: Son of Gabriel and Nicky Okafor...attended Bishop Miege High School in Shawnee, Kan., where his coach was Rick Zych...majoring in electrical engineering.
