Van Klohman begins his first season as an assistant coach for the men's basketball program.
Prior to joining the Miners, Klohmann worked as the Graduate Assistant Coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. While there, he assisted in operations of the program, aided in player development of forwards and centers, and helped with all aspects of weekly game scouts, workouts, training and conditioning.
Before William Woods, Klohmann was the assistant coach for Westminster College (Mo.) where he helped the team make it to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament semi-finals. He was also responsible for player development, practice plans, and gameday preperations.
Klohmann is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. He earned his Master of Education degree from William Woods in May 2017.
