Troy Williams

Troy Williams enters his second year as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Missouri S&T.

Prior to Missouri S&T, he spent two years as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning and Strength and Conditioning Internship Supervisor at Eastern Illinois University working primarily with Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Rugby, he also assisted with Football, helping guide football to back to back conference championships in 2012 and 2013. From 2010-2012, he was the Linebackers Coach and Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at Truman State University. He also spent one year as a Graduate Assistant Football Coach and Strength and Conditioning Intern at the University of Central Missouri.

Troy played football collegiately at Albany State (GA) University, where he was a member of a football team that won four consecutive conference championships, making three NCAA Division II playoff appearances and winning the 2003 Pioneer Bowl.

Williams received his  Master’s Degree in PE/Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Central Missouri in 2010 and holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from Albany State University: Recreation (2007) and Health and Physical Education (2008).

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specalist (CSCS) and Registerd Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Sports Performance Coach (USAW) through USA Weightlifting, and Level 1 Functional Movement Screen Certifiied (FMSC) and Y Balance Test Certifiied through Functional Movement Systems. He is also a member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
