Biography
2011-12: Appeared in 23 games during the season, scoring four points and averaging just shy of a rebound per game…had six assists and six steals on the year…had two points against Drury and Kentucky Wesleyan for his seasonal high, while pulling down a year-high three rebounds against Newman, Lynn and Rockhurst.
2010-11: Appeared in 22 games during the season…had a season-high four points against Culver-Stockton…added four assists and two steals…had a season-high 15 minutes of playing time against Drury and saw at least double figure minutes in five contests.
2009-10: Appeared in 12 games during his first season at S&T…scored nine points in those games with eight of them coming against Missouri Southern…shot 33.3 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range and made one-of-two at the line…added two rebounds.
HIGH SCHOOL: Starter at point guard at Parkway North High School, where he averaged nine points and 2.6 rebounds per game as a senior…shot 40 percent from the floor and led the Vikings with 43 three-point baskets…averaged 2.7 assists per game and also added 27 steals…named to the all-tournament team at Fort Zumwalt North…averaged five points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game during his junior year.
PERSONAL: Son of Ronald Gifford and JoAnn Cipiriano…majoring in architectural and civil engineering.
