2018: Earned numerous honors following the season, including being selected honorable mention All-America on Don Hansen's squad...was an all-Super Region 3 selection on that team as well...named first-team All-GLVC after ranking second in the conference in sacks and tackles for a loss...completed the campaign with 18 tackles for a loss and nine sacks among his 54 tackles on the year...was selected as the most outstanding defensive player in the Mineral Water Bowl after finishing with eight total tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks and a fumble returned 53 yards for a touchdown...posted a season-high nine tackles against Northwood and earned GLVC Player of the Week honors following that contest...had four forced fumbles and recovered three, including one returned for the score in the bowl game.

2017: Selected to the D2CCA all-region second team for Super Region 3 and to the All-GLVC first team…set a new S&T single season record with 21 tackles for a loss and had 13.5 sacks during the year…led the GLVC in sacks and tackles for a loss…ranked third in NCAA Division II in sacks and seventh in tackles for a loss…finished with 64 tackles, including 35 solo stops, from his defensive end position…also had four forced fumbles and a pass breakup during the season…recorded a season-high nine tackles against Northwood and Saint Francis (Ill.) and had eight stops against Southwest Baptist…had three sacks in the wins over SBU and Quincy.

2016: Had a solid freshman season for the Miners, finishing with 19 tackles and tying for the team lead with 5.5 quarterback sacks…had 7.5 tackles for a loss…posted a four tackles and two sacks in the season-ending win at Quincy…also had two forced fumbles.

High School: Landed first-team All-Suburban Central Conference honors at University City High School...led the Lions in tackles with 110, which included four quarterback sacks and an interception....was a three-time all-conference selection and four-time academic scholar at his school.

Personal: Attended University City High School, where his coach was Jameison Allen...son of Du'Shawn and Terry Wharton...majoring in psychology at Missouri S&T.
