Appeared in all 11 games for the Miners during the 2010 season on the offensive line...lettered as a redshirt freshman in 2009 at the tight end spot and moved to the offensive line following that season…had two catches during his freshman season for 16 yards…was a second-team all-district selection following the 2007 season, while also earning second-team all-league honors in the Four Rivers Conference as both a tight end and defensive end.

Personal: Attended St. Clair High School, where his coach was John Butler …son of Ron and Laura Deason…majoring in biological sciences.
