Biography
2021: Starter at linebacker who finished the year with 20 tackles and a quarterback sack...had 12 solo stops on the season...recorded a season-high four tackles against Truman State...got his sack against Arkansas Baptist.
2020: Was in on one tackle during the Miners' three-game spring campaign, which came in the win over Southwest Baptist.
2019: Recorded 23 tackles during the year with eight solo stops and one quarterback sack...had six tackles in the victory at William Jewell and five against Eastern New Mexico.
2018: Played in all 12 games during the season at linebacker and on special teams, finishing the year with 16 tackles...had eight solo stops and had combined quarterback sacks against Northwood and Drake...had three tackles in the Drake contest...named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
2017: Redshirted for the 2017 season.
High School: Earned all-state honors at the high school level at Brentwood High School…completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,310 yards and 17 touchdowns as his team reached the Missouri Class 2 semifinal round…threw 18 touchdown passes as a junior with 1,048 yards passing as he completed 69 percent of his throws…also earned academic all-state honors.
Personal: Attended Brentwood High School, where his coach was Keith Herring...son of John and Suzan Sappington...majoring in geological engineering at Missouri S&T.
