Biography
2022: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors at linebacker...finished the season with 30 solo tackles among his 53 total stops...had a season-high of 12 tackles against Kentucky Wesleyan and also had eight against Truman State...had 4.5 tackles for a loss and was second on the team with nine tackles behind the line of scrimmage...added a forced fumble and had an interception against Southwest Baptist...recorded sacks in five different contests during the season...member of GLVC All-Academic team and was named as a Br. James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar by the GLVC.
2021: Finished the season with 21 tackles, including seven solo stops...also had a tackle for a loss, a quarterback sack and a forced fumble...had four tackles in the wins over Wayne State (Mich.) and William Jewell.
2020: Appeared in all three contests during the spring season...had one tackle which came in the win at William Jewell.
2019:Â Redshirted for the season.
High School:Â Was named to the Gateway Athletic Conference Central Division's all-conference team on both the offensive and defensive lines...would go on to land first-team all-state laurels on the defensive side of the ball after a year in which he recorded 85 tackles and nine sacks...was also a third-team all-state selection as a junior, when he had 75 tackles and five sacks...earned academic all-conference honors.
Personal: Attended Fort Zumwalt South High School, where his coach was Adam Hamilton…son of Greg and Rose Mattli…majoring in electrical engineering at Missouri S&T.
