Freshman who will contend for playing time on the defensive line…was redshirted last season…led his team with 74 tackles during the 2007 campaign, including numerous stops behind the line of scrimmage…was a first-team all-state selection on the defensive line as well as a first-team all-district and all-conference selection…an all-metro St. Louis selection who was also chosen to the Lions Club all-star team.
Personal: Attended Fox High School, where his coach was Nick Gianino…son of Michael and Tricia Saputo…majoring in engineering at S&T.
