Redshirt freshman who is expected to compete for the starting spot at quarterback…redshirted for the 2009 season…was a first-team all-state and all-conference quarterback at Fort Wayne’s Snider High School – the same school that produced former NFL Hall of Fame player Rod Woodson – while earning a spot in the Indiana North all-star game…he set the school record for passing yards during his prep career…and threw for 2,000 yards during the 2008 season with 14 touchdown tosses...was a first-team all-region performer.
