Expected to compete for a starting role at cornerback this fall…ended the 2009 season with 53 tackles at his safety position, including 27 solo stops…had a season-high nine tackles against Saint Joseph’s…had one interception on the year, which he returned a school record 96 yards for a touchdown in the season finale at Kentucky Wesleyan…expected to see most of his playing time at free safety…was an all-conference selection as a free safety and also earned pre-season all-city honors in the Chicago area…also served as a punt returner at the high school level.
