Was fifth on the team with 41 tackles in 2012, including 26 solo stops…added two quarterback sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an interception at Arkansas Tech which was returned for 17 yards…also ran back five kickoffs for an average of nearly 17 yards per return...sat out the 2011 season…recorded 32 tackles during the 2010 campaign and had one pass breakup…ranked among the national leaders in punt returning during that season with an average of 20.5 yards per return; fell one return short of qualifying for the national championship in that category…also averaged 24.3 yards per kickoff return…named as the D2Football.com national “Special Teams Player of the Week” after a performance against Kentucky Wesleyan in which he set a school record with 167 yards in punt returns, including a 78-yard touchdown return that sparked a late comeback by S&T…also named that week as the GLFC’s “Defensive Player of the Week”…ended the 2009 season with 53 tackles at his safety position, including 27 solo stops…had a season-high nine tackles against Saint Joseph’s…had one interception on the year, which he returned a school record 96 yards for a touchdown in the season finale at Kentucky Wesleyan…expected to see most of his playing time at free safety…was an all-conference selection as a free safety and also earned pre-season all-city honors in the Chicago area…also served as a punt returner at the high school level.
