Tied for second on the team in receptions in 2011 with 25 for 362 yards and three touchdowns…tied the Miners’ longest touchdown reception of the season, covering 72 yards against Lindenwood…also had scoring catches against South Dakota School of Mines and William Jewell…had season highs of four catches for 65 yards against William Jewell…member of the GLFC’s all-academic team for 2011...finished the 2010 season with 19 receptions for 244 yards and two touchdowns...caught a 23-yard scoring pass with 33 seconds left in regulation time to allow S&T to tie Kentucky Wesleyan; the Miners would win the game in overtime...had a season-high six receptions for 65 yards in that contest...had his other touchdown reception against Urbana...was named as the Great Lakes Football Conference’s “Co-Freshman of the Year” after making 24 catches for 351 yards and six touchdowns during his first season on the field for the Miners…had three touchdown receptions as part of a six-catch game in S&T’s win over Northwestern Oklahoma State…had 83 yards on three catches – including two for touchdowns – in the victory over Saint Francis (Ind.)…had season bests in catches (seven) and yards (90) against Lincoln, including one reception for a score…was redshirted in 2008…was the recipient of the Tom Kimbrough Unsung Hero Award following the 2007 season…was also an academic all-district and all-state selection in 2006 for a team that was a regional finalist.
Personal: Attended Plano East High School, where his coach was Johnny Ringo…son of Charles and Dianne Dillon… majoring in aerospace and mechanical engineering.
