Biography

Three-year starter at linebacker for the Miners...finished fourth on the team in tackles with 76, including 26 solo stops and two sacks…also had a forced fumble during the year…recorded a season-high 18 tackles against Arkansas-Monticello, one of four games with at least 10 tackles during the year…was second on the team in tackles during the 2006 season with 73, including three for a loss…reached double figures in the tackle column on three occasions with a high of 13 at Morehead State…also had an interception and fumble recovery during the year…finished the 2005 season with 61 tackles, including 29 initial stops...also had three tackles for a loss and a forced fumble during the season...had a season-high nine tackles against Southwest Baptist...good all-around athlete who was redshirted in the 2004
season...earned all-conference honors in three sports at the high school level (football, soccer and track), earning the team’s most
valuable player honor in football...was a co-captain as a senior and earned first-team all-conference laurels as a running back and linebacker...was part of a relay team in track that broke the school record in the 4x100-meter relay.
