Starter at quarterback in 10 of the Miners’ 11 games in 2011…completed 150-of-288 passes for 1,826 yards and 14 touchdowns during the season, while throwing just four interceptions…threw for a season-best 348 yards and four touchdowns against South Dakota School of Mines, completing 16-of-25 passes in that game…was 22-of-39 for 227 yards and two scores at Drake; completion total was his season high…named to the GLFC’s all-academic team...transferred from Antelope Valley College in California, where he completed 265-of-506 passes during his two seasons for 3,244 yards and 25 touchdowns...set a school record with five touchdown throws in a game against Santa Monica during the 2009 campaign...played his high school football at Quartz Hill High School, where he was a two-time all-conference performer at quarterback and was named as his team’s most valuable player following his senior year...was also named to the California Interscholastic Federation’s Western Division squad after the 2008 campaign and earned three conference “Player of the Week” awards at Antelope Valley.
