Was redshirted for the 2012 season....will look to earn playing time at quarterback...completed over 53 percent of his passes at the high school level for 3,529 yards and 34 touchdowns against just 14 interceptions...was a first-team all-conference selection after the 2011 season and also earned second-team all-district laurels...selected as the Kansas City Star's "Player of the Week" during the 2011 season...earned scholar-athlete honors from the Kansas City Football Coaches Association.
Personal: Attended Archbishop O'Hara High School, where his coach was Jim DeMarea...son of Michael Fortin and Megan Maher...majoring in chemical engineering at Missouri S&T.
