Missouri S&T Athletics

AT MISSOURI STATE: Was with the Bears for two seasons, but did not see any playing time during that span…earned a spot on the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award list in 2024 and MVFC Honor Roll in both seasons…played at Ottawa University during the 2022 campaign, where he had one reception covering seven yards.

High School: Was a three-year standout at the prep level, where he helped lead his team to a 10-1 record and sectional runner-up finish...earned all-state honorable mention distinction as a senior while earning All-CNC 3A first-team laurels...rushed for 660 yards on 127 carries and four touchdowns as a senior. 

Personal: Attended Girard High School…son of Lewis and Nancy Merrell…majoring in biology at Missouri S&T.
