Returner who saw playing time at defensive end and on special teams last season…finished the year with 14 tackles, including five solo stops…also had a forced fumble, three tackles for a loss and combined on a quarterback sack…made four tackles at Wisconsin-Stout…was in on 16 tackles in the 2007 season, including eight solo stops…had four solo tackles at Butler…was redshirted in 2005...was a first-team all-conference selection at linebacker in his senior...was also a National Honor Society student at his high school.

Personal: Attended Jackson High School, where his coach was Carl Gross...son of Roger and Bonnie Poythress...majoring in petroleum engineering.
