Finished the 2013 season with 27 tackles from his cornerback position, including 14 solo stops…recorded a season-high five tackles in the victory over McKendree…also had four pass breakups during the year...saw playing time in the secondary and on special teams during the 2012 season…finished the year with five tackles, including three solo stops, before his season was cut short due to an injury....finished 2011 with 19 tackles, including 10 solo stops as a member of the secondary…also had a blocked punt at Oklahoma Panhandle State and a tackle for a loss during the year…recorded a season-high five tackles against South Dakota School of Mines...came to S&T as a running back and was moved during his redshirt season...earned first-team all-conference honors in the Suburban North Conference, where he finished the 2009 season as the total yards leader with 1,533…finished fifth in the conference in rushing with 830 yards and finished fourth in receiving with 48 catches for 703 yards and eight touchdowns…scored 14 touchdowns overall in 2009…earned scholar-athlete awards at Riverview Gardens in football, basketball and track and field and was also the recipient of the All-American Scholar award.
Personal: Attended Riverview Gardens High School, where his coach was Robert Hall…son of Alexander and Angela Ferguson…majoring in mechanical engineering.
