Biography
Returner who will contend for a spot among the wide receiver corps this fall…had 15 receptions for 166 yards and a touchdown during the 2009 season…had a season-high five receptions for 74 yards and his lone touchdown of the year against Saint Francis (Ind.)…played primarily on special teams during his first year at S&T, making three tackles in that role…transferred from South Dakota State, where he redshirted in his freshman season in 2007…was a two-way standout at the high school level when he earned Illinois Class 5A all-state honors…caught 51 passes for 1,054 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior…also made eight interceptions on defense…was a first-team all-conference selection.

Attended Sacred Heart Griffin High School, where his coach was Ken Leonard…son of John and Kim Kavish…majoring in biological sciences.
