Stepped into the placekicking role for the Miners in late September and connected on 36-of-43 extra points and eight-of-12 field goal tries…kicked three field goals at Quincy and made a pair against Kentucky Wesleyan and Saint Joseph’s…was named as the GLVC’s special teams “Player of the Week” following the win at Saint Joseph’s…finished with a total of 60 points during the year....redshirted for the 2011 season...connected on 111-of-137 extra point attempts in his high school career and 10-of-16 field goals...had a long field goal of 42 yards at the prep level...was an all-area selection and also earned academic all-league honors on two occasions.
Personal: Attended Coal City High School, where his coach was Lenny Onsen...son of Ric and Cheryl Druse...majoring in mechanical engineering at S&T.
