Selected to the All-GLVC second team in 2013…led the Miners with six quarterback sacks and 13 tackles for a loss from his defensive end position…also had two fumble recoveries during the year…recorded a season-high seven tackles at Truman State…had two sacks at Kentucky Wesleyan and two more the following week in a key GLVC victory over Saint Joseph’s...had nine solo tackles and 15 total stops during his sophomore season…also had three sacks and an interception which he returned 32 yards in the win at Saint Joseph’s…had 5.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and posted a season high of four tackles in the victory over Urbana...completed his freshman season with 11 tackles, three of which were behind the line of scrimmage…had six solo tackles and an interception during the year...earned first team all-state honors for Kansas Class 5A as well as second-team all-metro honors in the Kansas City area following a 2010 campaign where he was in on 58 tackles…had 14 tackles for losses while sacking the quarterback eight times, forcing eight quarterback hurries and breaking up 11 passes…was also a first-team selection on the Eastern Kansas League’s all-conference squad; team reached the sub-state playoffs in 2010.

Personal: Attended Gardner-Edgerton High School, where his coach was Marvin Deiner…son of Mike and Laura Mauszycki…majoring in petroleum engineering at Missouri S&T.
