Returning starter on the offensive line…was selected to the Great Lakes Football Conference’s all-league first team following the 2008 season…was moved to center last season after playing at guard in 2007…was an honorable mention pick in the Jayhawk Conference following his freshman year and also earned first-team all-academic honors at the junior college level…at Louisburg High School, he was an honorable mention all-state selection and first-team choice in the Frontier League…won a state championship in the shot put in track and field.
Personal: Attended Louisburg High School, where his coach was Gary Griffin…son of Virginia Hickman…majoring in mechanical engineering.
