Biography
Expected to contend for a starting spot on the offensive line this fall…was a starter during the 2008 season at tackle after seeing a good deal of playing time there the previous two seasons…was redshirted in 2005…served as a team captain for his high school squad in 2004 and earned honorable mention all-county honors that season despite missing half of it due to an injury...was named as a pre-season "Prepster all-region lineman" honors prior to his senior year and was a four-time all-academic selection in the Eastern Kansas League.
Personal: Attended Blue Valley Northwest High School, where his coach was Troy Morris...son of Evan and Janine Douthit and Melinda McDonald...majoring in civil and architectural engineering at Missouri S&T.
