Kylle Shoemaker

Kylle Shoemaker is in his third season as an assistant coach at Missouri S&T and first as the team's defensive coordinator.  Shoemaker will work with the team's linebackers as he did during the 2014 season.

Shoemaker came to Missouri S&T from Azusa Pacific University in California, where he coached the team’s hybrid linebackers and handled all of the team’s video productions during the 2012 season.  Prior to that, he spent three years as a student assistant at California Polytechnic University. 

Shoemaker is originally from Encinitas, Calif., where he was a three-year starter at linebacker at Santa Fe Christian High School.  He was a two-time All-Coastal League selection for his play and finished second on the team in tackles (94) for the Eagles in 2005 as they advanced to the California Interscholastic Federation championship game. He had 84 tackles as a 2004 junior when Santa Fe Christian won the CIF crown and also lettered in volleyball for the Eagles.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Cal Poly in 2012 and earned his master’s degree in organizational leadership at Azusa Pacific.

Shoemaker and his wife, Melissa, have one child.
