Desmond Noird completed his first season on the Missouri S&T coaching staff as the Miners' wide receivers coach.  During his first season, the Miners had two receivers earn All-GLVC honors as CJ Jarmon was named to the second team on the all-league squad and Isaiah Wright was an honorable mention choice.

Noird was on the staff at Walsh University in 2021 as the Cavaliers' wide receivers coach, after previously working as a quality control coach on the offensive side of the ball at Missouri State.  He served in the quality control role for two seasons at Missouri State, first under Dave Steckel in 2019 and then under Bobby Petrino during the 2020-21 season when the Bears played games in both semesters and made the NCAA Division I Football Championship Series playoffs. 

A native of Lithonia, Ga., Noird played collegiately at Florida A&M for four seasons, where he accumulated 36 receptions for 485 and five touchdowns.  His top season came as a sophomore in the 2015 campaign, where he had 15 catches for 157 and two touchdowns, but as a junior, he averaged 23.1 yards on his eight receptions and had two touchdown catches.
