Biography
Expected to contend for a starting spot on the defensive line this fall…finished the 2008 season with nine tackles, including two for a loss and a sack which came against Kentucky Wesleyan...made eight tackles in 2007, five of which came against Truman State…had a quarterback sack as well…had four tackles in a reserve role during the 2005 season and also recorded a fumble recovery…was redshirted in 2005…earned first-team all-district and all-conference honors on both offensive and defense in 2004 while also being named to the all-conference second team in his junior year...also selected to the KMZU "Dream Team" following a senior year when his team won a district championship...was captain in each of his last two seasons at the high school level and was a state qualifier in wrestling in his junior year.
Personal: Attended Gallatin High School, where his coach was Mark Cole...son of Denny and Beth Strein...majoring in mechanical engineering.
