2013: Batted .226 with a home run and six runs batted in…hit the home run in the Miners’ win over Hannibal-LaGrange…had three multiple-hit games during the season, including one of S&T’s four-hit performances when he was four-of-four in the final game of the series with Quincy…had a four-game hitting streak from April 9-17…stole three bases in five attempts.

2012: Was four-of-eight at the plate during his first year at S&T…tied for the team lead in pinch-hits with two, getting them against Lincoln and Maryville…had two hits as a designated hitter in his only start of the season against Illinois Springfield.

AT TROY: Was redshirted for the 2011 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played his prep baseball at Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fla. …hit .333 as a senior at Riverview to earn first-team all-district and all-area as well as third-team all-state honors…batted .297 as a junior to land first-team all-district and second-team all-area honors, while landing second-team mention on both teams as a sophomore after a season in which he hit .282…played catcher and in the outfield during his prep career.,,was named as a SWOBAT top prospect three times while in high school and graduated with highest academic honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Larry and Pamela Seigel…majoring in biological sciences with an emphasis on pre-medicine.
