JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at John Wood Community College, where he batted .278 with five home runs, 23 runs batted in and 29 runs scored… also stole seven bases and had a .358 on-base percentage…as a freshman, he batted .262 with two home runs and 24 runs batted in…stole three bases and also had a 2-1 record as a pitcher.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at shortstop and pitched at West Prairie High School…was a first team all-conference performer both as a position player and pitcher.
PERSONAL: Son of Timothy and Delinda Burke…majoring in mechanical engineering.
