2024: Played in 29 games, earning 23 starts…missed some time due to injury…had a season-best batting performance against William Jewell on March 22nd, scoring 5 RBIs, 2 runs, and hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to end the game in a run-rule win…ended the season with 19 hits, 23 runs, and 31 RBIs…had the second-highest slugging percentage on the team with a .581.

2023: Appeared in 25 games with 14 starts at catcher...Posted a .293 batting average with one double, eight RBI, and 10 runs...Drove in two runs against Hillsdale (2/25) and Southwest Baptist (4/07)...Recorded 111 putouts and thrown out three runners.

2022: Appeared in 13 games with eight starts behind the plate...Had a pair of multi-hit games on the season...Went 2-3 with two RBI against Drury (3/4)...Went 2-4 with a home run and two RBI against Missouri-St. Louis (3/19).

2021: Appeared in one game and made his Miner debut against Missouri Southern...doubled and drove in a run in his only plate appearance oft he season against the Lions...named to the GLVC Academic All-Conference Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Batted .267 in an abbreviated senior year with five runs batted in...hit .246 as a junior in 26 games, droving in seven runs along the way...took part in the San Diego Coaches High School Invitation Showcase 2018 and 2019..named to the San Diego Union Tribune All Academic team 2019 and 2020.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Sandra Souza...majoring in engineering at Missouri S&T.
