2012: Appeared in 27 games, making 19 starts and batted .344 with 11 runs batted in…had at least one hit in 15 of his last 24 games, which included three-hit outings against Maryville and in the GLVC Tournament win over Drury, when he also drove in a pair of runs…also had the game-winning two-run single in the top of the ninth in the Miners’ victory at Lincoln…had a .467 on-base percentage when leading off an inning.

AT COFFEYVILLE: Played for two seasons at Coffeyville Community College…batted .292 in the 2011 season with 15 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases...was also selected to the NJCAA’s academic All-America team in 2011 and the academic all-conference team in 2010.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Olathe South High School, where he was named as his team’s most valuable player…was an outfielder and pitcher at the school, hitting .353 with a .438 on-base percentage and posting a 2.21 earned run average on the mound…was the school’s winner of the Wendy’s High School Heisman award…was the state tournament offensive most valuable player during the 2008 American Legion season when he had a .586 batting average.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Michelle Rich…father played football for the Miners…majoring in biological sciences with an emphasis on pre-veterinary medicine.
