2016: Appeared in one game, where he drew a walk and scored in his only plate appearance against Minnesota Crookston.

2015: Redshirted for the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time academic all-state selection, while also earning all-conference and all-district honors...hit .383 with 15 runs batted in during his senior year, while scoring 22 runs and slugging at a .477 rate.

PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Carol Hix...majoring in civil engineering.
