2018: Finished the season with a 4-3 record and 3.41 earned run average…started in all 12 games he pitched during the season…allowed two hits and no runs in seven innings of work with seven strikeouts against Missouri Southern, earned GLVC pitcher of the week honors…allowed just three hits and one run in seven innings of work, striking out eight along the way, in the Miners’ opening round win over fifth-ranked Illinois Springfield in the GLVC Tournament…also fanned eight on the final weekend of the regular season in a win over Truman State…fanned at least six in six of his 12 starts.

2017: Led the Miners with 23 appearances, all in relief…finished with a 2-1 record, a team-high four saves and a 5.19 earned run average…struck out 26 hitters in 34 2/3 innings…picked up wins against St. Edward’s  and William Jewell, the first in a four-inning appearance in an extra inning victory and the other when S&T overcame an eight-run deficit to beat William Jewell…had a season-high four strikeouts against Rockhurst.

2016: Appeared in 15 games in his freshman season and recorded a 1-1 record and 4.50 earned run average…picked up his win in relief in S&T’s NCAA Midwest Regional win over Quincy, when he allowed one hit and struck out three in 2 1/3 innings…had a season-high five strikeouts in a relief outing in the regional championship game against Southern Indiana…made his first career start April 20 against Lindenwood…threw a season-high 2 2/3 innings against Rockhurst in the GLVC Tournament on May 13…had 21 strikeouts in 20 innings of work.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a second-team All-Suburban South Conference selection...went 4-4 on the mound during the 2015 season at Seckman High School with a 1.84 earned run average in a team-high 38 innings of work...struck out 29 and walked 12 while holding opposing hitters to a .153 batting average during the year...pitched out of the bullpen for the Jaguars during his junior year and had one save among his five appearances in that role for a team that finished second in the district tournament...also pitched for the St. Louis Naturals summer league team.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Andrea Erger...majoring in biological sciences at Missouri S&T...graduated summa cum laude from Seckman.
