2012: Batted .353 in his first season with the Miners with a home run and 10 runs batted in…hit his home run against Harris-Stowe in a game in which he had a season-high three hits and six runs batted in…also had two hits in games against Quincy and Maryville…recorded a .450 on-base percentage…did not make an error in 53 chances and was not charged with a passed ball during the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended South St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Minn. …was a two-time all-conference performer at the high school level and a four-year letterman in the program…hit .397 as a senior with two home runs after a junior season in which he batted .470 with 13 doubles and a home run…hit better than .300 in all four of his high school seasons and recorded 31 doubles in that span…was named to the academic all-state and all-conference team following the 2011 season.
